Sharh-us-Sunnah

Sharh-us-Sunnah (Explanation of the Islamic Creed by Imam al-Barbahari)

The book Sharh-us-Sunnah (Explanation of the Islamic Creed) consists of 170 points on different aspects of the Muslim creed, referring to passages of the Qur’an and authentic sayings of Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). Ample sayings of the early scholars are also included. In every age, there has been a noble company of scholars who stood firm and expended great efforts in defending the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and in refuting the people of innovated beliefs, deviation, and misguidance. At the head of these noble scholars towards the end of the third century and the beginning of the fourth was the Imaam who aided the Sunnah and subdued innovation: Abu Muhammad al-Hasan ibn ‘Alee al-Barbahari (died in year 329 AH).

The Prophet’s Prayer Described (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam)

The Prophet's Prayer Described ﷺ (Shaykh 'Uthaymeen)

In this book, al-ʿAllāmah Muḥammad b. Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn explains a number of vital issues related to the Prayer in a very simple and comprehensive fashion. Not only does the Shaykh clarify the description of the Prayer, but he also expounds on finer details such as the meaning of the legislated supplications and remembrance articulated in the Prayer, which is highly beneficial to every Muslim, especially the English reader. This treatise provides the reader with accurate information based on the Qur’ān and the Sunnah, so that the Muslim can actualize the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: “Pray as you have seen me praying.”

Press Release:

Islamic Center of Palm Beach hosting “Islam is Against Extremism” open forum in wake of Orlando mass shooting

N. Palm Beach, Florida (June 16th, 2016) - The Islamic Center of Palm Beach (ICPB) is hosting an open forum event entitled “Islam is Against Extremism”, on Friday June 17th, 2016 at 9:00PM in condemnation of the heinous terrorist act in Orlando, Florida that took place last weekend.

Islamic scholars around the Muslim world have clarified that murder and any other criminal acts are explicitly forbidden in the Islamic faith. Such universal crimes result in nothing but widespread corruption and place extreme hardships and injuries upon innocent people. The evil and harm of such crimes do not only affect one city, rather, the dangers affect the whole world over. The intent of this Friday’s forum at ICPB is to make emphatically clear that crimes perpetrated “in the name of Islam” are in reality in stark opposition to Islamic teachings and to sound intellect.

The Islamic Center of Palm Beach has hosted multiple events open to the general public clarifying the Islamic condemnation of such reprehensible acts and extremist individuals and groups. We plan to continue such efforts, if our Lord so wills.
